While this platform provides driving education resources, tips, and support for learners across the UK, I spend my days at WS Driving School in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Here, I work directly with real students, tackle real challenges, and develop the practical insights that I share on The Driving Mentor. Furthermore, everything you read on this site comes from actual lessons, real test experiences, and genuine student successes. Therefore, when I discuss overcoming driving anxiety or mastering tricky manoeuvres, I’m sharing what I do every day—not theory.

WS Driving School proudly serves the Ely and surrounding areas, specifically the CB6 and CB7 postcode regions including Littleport. As a DVSA-approved driving school with a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor, I bring years of teaching experience to help learners overcome their challenges and achieve their driving goals. Moreover, we hold Carbon Neutral Britain certification, demonstrating our commitment to environmentally responsible driving instruction.

Learner Lessons

Our learner driver lessons (www.ws-driving-school.co.uk/driving-lessons) teach you ALL the skills you need to pass your driving test AND stay safe on the roads throughout your driving career. Currently, we offer manual transmission lessons in the Ely and Littleport area, delivering training on a one-to-one basis and tailoring each session to meet your specific needs and learning style. Additionally, if you feel nervous about driving, we’ll work together to fix it. However, from Easter 2026, we’ll transition to automatic transmission lessons using an electric automatic car, with 90-minute lesson durations.

Pass Plus Courses

Already passed your test? Then our Pass Plus training (www.ws-driving-school.co.uk/driving-lessons) scheme will improve your driving skills and make you a safer driver. Furthermore, it can lead to insurance discounts, giving you financial benefits alongside enhanced road safety skills.

Refresher Lessons

Please note: We currently offer manual driving lessons until March 31, 2026. However, from Easter 2026, we’ll transition to automatic transmission lessons using an electric automatic car. Therefore, if you already have driving experience or have a test booked (or plan to book one soon), now represents the perfect time to get started with manual lessons.
